I Mean...WTF?

Gave it 4 stars simply for the concept. I love stand-up comedy. I go to live events, big and small, famous polished acts and unknown acts struggling to grow their skills. I like seeing unproven comics given a chance. But how this was the show they came up with for a sold-out MSG crowd and Netflix special is just...terrible imo. To those few positive reviewers (clearly groupies of the show) saying "All these haters just don't get Kill Tony", well, I guess you're right. But I think a 4-star average on IMDB (as of this review) says a lot more about those who "get it" than those who don't. This is a lineup/act best served in a dirty dingy tiny bar for a 2 drink minimum cover charge imo.

The worst Kill Tony episode ever.

This is just unwatchable. Between the bad regular comics and the boring guests, it was a bad viewing experience. Tony calls every guest the greatest comedian, yet the laugh track was used extensively to cover up the silence, especially during Jim Norton's horrible set. Not sure how this show keeps going because it is the hardest thing to get through. Do not recommend. Only failed comics go on this show. Thus Harland Williams is a regular.
