please don't waste your time

> updated reviewpros: the cinematography was decent, the scenes were beautifully shot but bland.Cons: the characters were very bland, throughout the film we recieve basically 0 intake on her thoughts, feelings, etc. And there's really no developmentdespite the good scenery and landscape, the scenes were abrupt and meaningless. I had a feeling they were attempting to go for that "indie film" vibe but just utterly missed the markas for the plot.. well there really is none. She meets 2 individuals that she barely talks to and kind of just sulks the entire film, theres no moral or lesson i could gather from the movie, no character development to inspire me, or even make me feel anything, positive or negative. I was simply bored.We learnt her name (which i dont remember) like 15 minutes before the film ended because it was so uninteresting and nobody was paying attention(i wrote the original review right after stumbling out of the dark theater and was a bit overly harsh with it, so i updated it lol)

Not bad but shallow and forgettable

At first glance a perfect tender summer film unfortunately falls flat in its second half. "L'Amour du Monde" doesn't trouble itself with too much explanation at the beginning and instead lets us discover the protagonists' back-stories on our own throughout the duration of the film. Another thing that I would compliment is its beutiful cinematography that perfectly captures sunlight glittering on the water surface, soft tree shades in nearby forests and overall summer atmosphere. On the other hand I wish the story let us more into the characters minds and feelings, beacuse in my opinion all of them were kind of one-sided, superficial and blurry. The main theme that connected the three protagonists - loss of their mothers - was pleasing, but it got a bit lost in the narrative (untill the very end, when we were reminded of it again). Overall I don't think it was a bad film, just not exceptional enough.

please watch something else. !!!!!!!!!

This film was one of the most boring movies ive ever laid my eyes upon. The main character is bland as hell and you get absolutely no intake on what shes thinking or feeling, she remains neutral the entire film and i literally dont know anything about her.The scenes are terribly shot and scenes are very abrupt and meaningless and i wish i didnt waste my precious time on this .Theres literally 0 plot and theres nothing interesting going on, the entire film revolves around her meeting these two people and she barely even talks to themtheres no moral or lesson nothing.We learned her name like 15 minutes before the film ended because it was so uninteresting and nobody was paying attention, and we qll clapped with joy when it was done so we could leave the cinema.Other recommendations besides watching this film: watching paint dry talking to the wallpls its so boring i cant even give spoilers cuz nothing happened.
