There are no redeeming aspects of this movie that make it worth your time

Lost a Girl (2015) is a UK movie that I recently watched on Tubi. The storyline follows a young lady who moves to the city for a new job. She is excited for her job but it doesn't feel like her coworkers are big fans of her. Things start happening around her and she thinks her coworkers are messing with her since they're the only ones who know her in the city...could she be wrong?

This movie is written and directed by Nicholas Winter (Breathe) and stars Nina Hatchwell (The Devil You Know), Paul Marlon (Renegades), Millie Midwinter-Lean (Panic Button) and Adele Pearson (Undercover Hooligan).

The storyline for this is mediocre to bad and the black web concepts weren't as intense as the director may have hoped. The circumstances weren't overly interesting. The acting and dialogue was also average and this had a "made for TV" feel to it. There weren't enough kills but I did like the killer reveal at the end. The problem is there was only 11 minutes left when the killer emerges with his cool costume. The lighting and smoke used for his emergence was great; but unfortunately, the final kill was disappointing.

Overall, there are no redeeming aspects of this movie that make it worth your time. I would score this a 2/10 and recommend skipping it.

What do you want from me?

Saskia (Natasha James) as a teen pushes a girl into the street who kisses a van. Saskia is upset, and takes partial blame. A few days later Saskia is kidnapped and held captive by the van driver. Years later Saskia works in the city. She has nightmares over the ordeal. She is hired to work on algorithms and is the odd person out in the work place. David (Jason Wing) informs that there is someone out to steal the project she is working on and may come after her. That is when weird things start to happen, and Saskia knows someone is gunning for her, but who? This is more of a psychological thriller than horror. Most of the violence and killings takes place off screen, there is very little blood. I though Natasha James played her role well, one I didn't think was that well written. The story only mildly engages you. The whole time you are looking for someone from the first scene to circle back to and a guy in gas mask from the DVD cover. And finally at the end...that's it? Might work as an inexpensive Tuesday rental instead of The Real Boo-Boo Dancers of the Beverly Talent Idols.

Guide: I don't recall any swearing, sex, or nudity. Natasha takes a shower and we get to see her naked from the shoulders up.
