Plot summary

Good one

Maargan (2025), directed by debutant Leo John Paul, really surprised me. I didn't even watch the trailer just went in with a bit of hope after a friend recommended it. The film was tight, with no unnecessary scenes, and gave a satisfying feel. Vijay Antony's background score was terrific. Newcomer Ajay Dhishan did really well, and Vijay Antony also delivered a solid performance. Good production quality and clean visuals. Definitely worth a watch.

Superb thriller movie

This is about a murder that takes place on a valentine day where the body gets black after getting murdered. The news gets viral on social media and a special officer gets the case to investigate. The officer too had met with the the same accident few years back but fortunately he survived but he couldn't save his family. Since the police officer survived with his half black body he was more determined to catch the culprit by hook or by crook. He starts his investigation but the film takes another big turn while solving the case. Finally the case gets solved but what was the reason behind so many murders will shock you to utter surprise. A big social message is portrayed at the end of the movie. An interesting movie that gives you so many nail biting moments. Streaming on amazon prime. Do give it a try and trust me you won't regret.

Easily the finest thriller of the year!

Easily one of the very finest thrillers of this year. The story revolves around serial killings targeting women by injecting them with a chemical leaving their entire body turned into dark. Kudos to the director of this movie for keeping the thrill element so high throughout the entire movie. Right from the very moment it starts to until the very end moment, it keeps one completely hooked on. It doesn't appeal like another serial killer movie n police investigation but offers more in terms of a solid storyline n execution. Nobody gets to guess anything until the very end. A completely enjoyable ride, definitely worth watching. Originally a Tamil movie dubbed in Kannada n Telugu. Available in Amazon Prime, my ratings 8/10!
