In order to get immersed into a love story, a person should find it believable and charming. I am sorry to say that despite the best intensions of the film, it fails miserably. I didn't buy the premise at all. We have to believe that the main hero has a special kind of amnesia and forgets not faces, numbers or short-term events but specifically everything about "the love of his life", and this happened without any physical trauma. So based on a message of an unknown woman(remember, he doesn't remember her at all) that she leaves him for good, this amnesiac decides to find her at any cost and by any means because that's "true love" obviously: to pursue a fix idea, a total blank spot in your memory. To pull this off the movie needs a very good script and a charismatic character. We have none of that. I got the impression that either "the hero"was pretty bored, a moron, or a bored moron who was in a desperate need to spice up his life. Clara, the mysterious love interest, is really beautiful and charming. However, she appears only for the last 5 minutes, too little too late. We are not quite sure that she won't be forgotten again by her "one and only" imbecile.

Actually, I think it is quite underrated. A feel-good movie that we usually don't see coming from Brazil. Fine actors, good pace and some laughing moments. About the characters, they are okay, especially considering that it is a romantic comedy with a plot that might be taken as cliché. In the end, the movie is good and worth a watch. To summarize everything, let's say I will recommend you to watch in a cold Sunday afternoon plus a box of chocolates. It's exactly this type of movie.
