Plot summary

When Tracy, an aspiring singer breaks up with her longtime boyfriend Joe on the set of a popular talk show, everyone assumes it's nothing more than tv tabloid hijinks. But when the talk show host turns up dead, all evidence points to Joe. McBride must take center stage and clear his client of murder.

Just a review of the series's music

I can't believe anybody actually got paid for the music that continually plays. It is beyond repetitive. It could have been composed by HAL9000. It even rarely bother to change from scene to scene, or to indicate tone or mood changes. I watch a lot of Hallmark movies

I Stopped Watching The Series With This Episode

OK, the series started well and I enjoyed the first three episodes. Episode 5 was a real fall-off and this one was even worse. What makes it truly horrible is the too loud, monotonous and repetitive "music" that plays throughout. It is a direct steal from Thomas Newman's soundtrack for AMERICAN BEAUTY, but a hack job by a hack "composer." What were they thinking to hire someone so untalented? If I were Newman I'd sue Ewan Johns. I won't watch any more episodes.
