Well I just can't identify with the protagonist, she was unlikeable from thr beginning to the end. The director and screenplay writer did a good job making the whole story gritty and realistic, but with the constant binge alcohol use, random tantrums, not-so-creative poems about defecation and corpses, open drug use, getting friends into trouble (killed), more alcohol use, and pretending to be tough but can't take the boomerang effect -- and she calls boyfriend #2 immature... what a joke. Most specifically, Rachel knows very well her ex killed her "best friend #1" when she came to check up on her out of worry, and when the same ex claims to be on her tail again, with a gun, she does nothing to warn the "best friend #2" from coming to her side, at the middle of the night this time too. It was just all about her. The conclusion of the movie states it too - she did it all by herself and that no one owns her.

So it's just not a pleasant film and doesn't have a lot to say, the ending where she insta-kills the murderous stalking ex with the help of a drug and alcohol-fueled frenzy and reaches an epiphany about self-empowerment feels forced.

I have watched this movie twice. Definitely worth it!!! Great acting/great plot!
