Plot summary

18-year-old Noah moves from America to London, with her mother who's recently fallen in love with William, a wealthy British businessman. Noah meets William’s son, bad-boy Nick, and soon discovers there is an attraction between them neither can avoid. As Noah spends the summer adjusting to her new life, her devastating past will catch up with her while falling in love for the first time.

Enjoyable.... no spoilers

Having seen the original I wasn't sure how I felt about this but I'm glad i watched. The changes in some of the scenes worked well and the soundtrack fit really well with the aesthetics. Both actors that played Nick and Noah were great( although at first i wasn't sure at first about the actor chosen for Nick ) the chemistry between them was very apparent. The spice level in this one in comparison to the original is a little tame but the moments you do get work quite well. The cat and mouse/ will they wont they is well played out- especially if you haven't read the novel. I'd certainly watch the sequels if they opt to do them!

Good adaptation

I absolutely loved Culpa Mia, but I didn't have high hopes for this movie. However, I was proven wrong when I watched it. It exceeded my expectations. I love how they added different elements and scenes from the book whilst using scenes from the original movie and adding a bit of a twist to them. The two actors were great! The passion, and chemistry was there for sure, I'm really impressed. I will say though, the main difference was the level of spice in this movie, but the rest of it made up for that so it's not as important but the spice level in the original movie was a lot more, and a lot better but either way, this movie was great and I'd definitely recommend! It didn't feel too dragged out, the 2 hours were used wisely and I was interested throughout.
