Plot summary

Lonely college student Alex encounters his favorite filmmaker, JP Smith, stalking around his sleepy town in upstate NY. Together they form a precarious relationship, with Alex becoming the star of JP’s latest flick.

Film Within a Film

I'm a big fan of the film "You're Next", so I was drawn to this by Nicholas Tucci. But I also love the film within a film conceit and "Myth" does a great job with it. I liked the mix of comedy and thriller/drama, and it takes you on a fun journey.

Quality film with star performances

Great 80's retro theme awesome performances by the leads and a funny dark premise that will keep you guessing. This is a great film about filmmaking and what happens when you meet your idols, or perhaps why you should never meet them. Nicholas Tucci is a revelation here and a magnetic onscreen presence playing Director JP it's a performance that slowly draws you in just like the film itself. Believe in this Myth!
