One step at the time monster adventure

Rigid movie for children with an entertaining plot.Lily Wahlsteen who plays Roberta and Marianne Mörck who plays Lena are warm characters and the ladies play them very well. The rest of the crew are playing as they should, nothing less nothing extra. And I think that is the style of the film. It feels forced, it is not flowing. When all the monsters are standing together in the room, it feels like they are waiting for a family picture in the late 1800s where everyone has to stand still for a long time at a specific spot.During the movie every character is waiting their turn. Nelly says "Hi", then it's Vincent's turn to walk, after Lena hugs Nelly and etc. It feels very unnatural.

Low Budget Film With A High Moral Message!

Not a laugh nor a fright did I get from this supposed kids Comedy Monster drama. The young star of it, Matilda Gross who plays Nelly, is a good little actress (but I am not so sure how she would be in something else...but rumours say she will be back for a sequel) and she is the only one holding this story together. Everyone else is mediocre to less than good/average acting skills; nobody seemed to have a clue and looked quite bored!

It could have done with someone at the helm who knows what kids want and how to push it in a kids film. I'm not sure if the worlds children will go for this in a big way but, other mediocre kids films have done okay and this may get lucky.

It gets a 5 from me for Matilda Gross and the scenery/props! I don't think I will return for the sequel however!
