Perfect gateway horror for younger audiences

I am usually not someone who watches PG animated horror, but since I am a huge horror movie buff I thought I would give this movie a try, even though I knew it probably would not be my taste. Now that I have seen it I can still say that these kinds of movies are not my favorite, however I am genuinely surprised at how great this movie was. It is well animated, even though you can tell that the budget was limited, and the characters were fun and unique on their own. The humor was decent and even though it was aimed at kids there were a few jokes that also worked for adults, especially fans of horror movies or movies in general. The premise itself sounds awesome and definitely features some great horror elements, however they were implemented in a way that is not too scary for a younger audience even though this movie includes elements of body horror, zombies and giant mutants. The fact that they managed to make a PG rated animated movie from a story that is based on Clive Barker is impressive and the way they handled certain themes was overall pretty good. This movie is a perfect watch for a younger audience to introduce them to the horror genre and especially the subgenres of zombies and body horror. It is not my personal favorite taste, therefore my rating is not as high as it probably should be, but I can definitely say that this movie surprised me in a good way. [6,1/10]

Show me a lazy studio

Would have given zero This film irritated me from the first trailer and pictures.I mean how lazy do a studio have to be to not research animals.I know Capybara are popular but a simple Google or watch FLOW would have told you CAPYBARAS DON'T HAVE TAILS!Surly you must have seen Capybara or known they're popular to get the front correct.Just angers me What's next a kangaroo with no tail? ?

fine family entertainment

Gracie is a timber wolf in a zoo. As part of a pack, she has never been outside her enclosure. One night, a meteorite crashes into the zoo. A bunny eats the small rock and it is zoopocalypse. The animals soon get turned into zombies. While escaping from a zombie, Gracie gets tranq by a zookeeper and thrown into the vet station. The zombies attack and Gracie escapes with mountain lion Dan.This is a Canadian-French-Belgian co-production. The animation is good and brightly-colored at a sub-top level. It is family-friendly. I would like the animal group in the vet station to stay together. At least, they should switch the distribution between the two groups. I would like Gracie's group to be bigger and more time given to the other animals. This is kid-friendly fun.
