A Quiet Journey Through Nature and Self

Pierre suffers a serious accident, and when doctors tell him he may never walk again, he takes that as a challenge-not a defeat. Walking has always been part of his life, his passion, and his way of escaping the pressure and noise of the modern world. As a writer, he also seeks solitude, which the wilderness provides better than anything else. After an unexpectedly fast recovery, Pierre sets out on a long solo trek across France-against medical advice. What follows is less of a dramatic struggle and more of a meditative journey. As he walks through mountains, forests, and valleys-choosing paths that are off the beaten track simply because they're more beautiful-we as viewers get to experience the breathtaking French countryside right alongside him.He reflects on his life, heals in more ways than one, and writes his new book along the way. It's a gentle, slow-paced film, beautifully shot and full of quiet moments rather than loud revelations.Story-wise, it doesn't aim for high drama, and that's okay. It's a film for those who enjoy watching nature, soaking in calm landscapes, and following someone's inner journey without the need for big plot twists.Final score: 6 out of 10. Visually lovely and emotionally grounded, but more of a quiet experience than a gripping narrative.

Jean Dujardin outstanding

This plot itself is also awesome, jaw dropping but only for specific audiences, not all audiences. I am myself a movie buff but also a hiking lover, I mean hiking in the wilderness, following footpaths in the mountain without seeing anyone for hours. You are alone with yourself, you can find unexplainable thiings inside your mind, you dig inside your spirit and many problems can solve in your brain while you walk, or even bike or run. So, useless to say that when I saw this film, I literally fell for it. It looks like a Michel Houellebecq's novel adaptation; it really looks like it, but maybe in a little smoother and less intellectual - and also depressing, gloomy - way.

For those who prefer to disappear into the landscapes...!!!

Director Denis imbert choses a tough path alongside writers Slyvain tesson & Diasteme to take genetically engineered animals(human) to know the benefit by the fall(Accident)... With the help of editor Basile belkhiri he lives to explores the nature without the innovative ideas their by making Absence of mind as a primal factor.... While Magoli silvestre camera is a soul of the movie that makes you to disappear into the landscapes... Be it Napolean quote of "Command & Obey" while glorifying the men who run away from the life cycle... "Being open was my fate" "Alcohol is innocent only the drunkard is guilty" "Cross the whole country to close the bad chapters in your life" And so on writing and dialogue holds ur horses and constantly strives to put natures beauty in the film roll, thanks to Sylvain tesson & Diasteme duo for their contribution in screenplay & dialogue... Overall a must see movies for typical natures lovers.
