Plot summary

Melancholic

A Japanese drama that examines the frailty of love, intimacy, and deceit. The movie centers on Tetsuo, a sculptor who works covertly for a company that have sex dolls, and his marriage to Sonoko. The narrative turns into a meditation on loneliness, desire, and the masks that couples put on to keep their relationship intact. Issey Takahashi and Yu Aoi's performances give the story a sensitive, melancholic foundation that makes the spectator feel the weight of unsaid truths.

How a perfect product to create ?

Every success have a reason behind, this movie showing how a perfect doll is produced. I seldom watch Japanese movie but think this one quite catch my eye, little slow but the storyline is interesting and very humanized.
