Love in Three Acts, but Not All Shine Equally

Ambitious in scope yet uneven in delivery, Seven Something draws on three decades of love stories to reflect on youth, maturity, and rediscovery, although its execution wavers.The film is structured as an anthology of three segments: 14 explores teenage romance derailed by the pressures of social media; 21/28 follows the strained relationship between a news anchor and an actress facing the weight of fame and fading relevance; and 42.195 depicts a middle-aged woman finding new meaning in life through marathon running and unexpected companionship. Each part attempts to mirror a stage of love and life, highlighting how time reshapes emotion.The film's greatest strength lies in its ambition and variety. The first story captures the vibrancy and vulnerability of adolescence, while the final segment delivers inspiration through themes of endurance and renewal. Cinematography is polished, with each act adopting a visual style that reflects its themes-bright colors for youth, subdued tones for maturity, and expansive landscapes for rediscovery.Yet, the middle act drags the narrative. Its melodramatic approach and sluggish pacing diminish the film's overall impact. The second one touched my heart.

I'm giving an 8 for the second story. I experienced it myself, the ups and downs in relationship, nobody's perfect. sometimes things get rough, but when you love someone, you stick to that person no matter what happens. The third one is also nice, very touching. about someone who wanted to start a new life but didn't know how. and nichkhun was very cute tho. the first story, well. i gave that 3 out of 10 lol.
