Plot summary

Three teenage friends struggle with the challenges of school while trying to keep a well-hidden secret: they are mermaids. When their secret is exposed on social media, they embark on a journey to a secret island, where they hope to give up their magical powers. Total lack of taste or substance

Just another ugly example of how the absence of artistic vision can be masked by the support of influential friends. It just happens that I know. Beyond its declared ambitions, the final result is a production devoid of coherence, taste and substance.It's just a rude, uninspired compilation of other simillar movies with mermaids (especially "H2O") into one long, boring series, just to have it flashed on Netflix.But, beyond the lack of originality there is the ATROCIOUS acting from the main character. I'll stop here, I don't want to be too rude to her... although she would deserve it for her courage to pretend being an actress.

Copy of H2O

Despite the school location which offers Fantasy vibes, the acting is completely trash, story is flat, they tell you everything that's in their mind, instead of showing it to you and it's full of exposion that makes it boring. But the acting pulls you completely out of the film. It's something you can't miss. You literally don't believe the characters. For a debut, they needed at least professional actors who can help the director.
