Plot summary

Five 2nd-grade kids who don't follow strict rules by their school principal Brinway are dubbed "Stinkers" by him. On the class visit to an aquarium the Stinkers decide that a sea lion called Slappy doesn't feel too good there, "free" him, and plant him into Brinway's hot-tub.

Who ever said you can't please them all?

I watched this movie four times already and counting when I babysit a little guy and I actually thought this was quite good, it was not perfect but it did have a lot of good scenes. However, the only good actors in that movie were B.D. Wong and Scarlett Pommers.

C"mon, Don't be such a sourpuss.

Maybe I'm just a softy but I thought this was a wonderful (and believable!) family film. The expressions on the children's faces when they first see Slappy was priceless -- and the final scene was nothing but laughs. I'm a literature college professor so I've read and seen my share of "stinkers". This one smells good!
