Plot summary

Music and glee fill the air as Charlie Brown and the gang head off to summer camp. First-timer Sally doesn't get what all the hype is about. But when the camp may be forced to close, they team up to save it so more kids can make their own special memories.

Fun, family friendly

This is a safe and fun bet for the family any night of the week. Great songs! Very catchy and, at times, moving. Classic characters with slightly modern animation style to connect with today. The plot was a little simple for me, but worked and was straightforward. No unnecessary messaging. The dialogue felt, at times, like filler between songs. But I suppose that's the point of a musical. Personally, I think one less song with a little more character development would have elevated the whole thing. All that said, my kids loved it and we will surely watch again. It knew its primary audience and gave them a great addition to the Charlie Brown legacy.

The Peanuts in a musical

Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical (2025) is a Peanuts special on Apple TV with our favorite Peanuts characters doing a musical at summer camp and it was pretty good.Positives for Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical (2025): It was fun to be spending time with these characters from my childhood while they're at summer camp. I will give credit to the voice actors who did the musical numbers as they were really good. You still get the fun shenanigans from the characters that made us love them in the first place. And finally, the movie is short and it gets to the point in an effective way possible.Negatives for Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical (2025): I wasn't too big on seeing the Peanuts doing a musical as it feels out of place from them to do. It honestly feels like the people who made this movie wanted to trying something different with the characters which I can respect, but it didn't fully work out for me.Overall, Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical (2025) is good Peanuts movies on Apple TV that will mostly likely please fans of these characters even if it is one of the weaker entries in the Peanuts franchise.
