This special was cute. It wasn't as funny as the strip but there were a few chuckles here and there. Lucy is one of my favorate characters so its nice to see her get the spot light. The special is about there bing this stupid test that allows you to automatically graducate. Cartoons am I right. Lucy who is like 8 years old decideds to teach all the other Peanuts characters and gives them terrible information. She wants to graducate quickly becuase she is afraid of the new school. The school background changes in every special but what ever. I guess there is a Peanuts Multiverse when it comes to the specials. It was very cute but they could have threw in a few more jokes.

It's the end of the school year. The kids have their fun but it's ending too soon. The Peanuts gang is going to a new school. It's bigger. The kids are bigger. Most are excited but Lucy starts to have concerns. She decides to open her own school.

It's solid Peanuts. The kids are the kids. It's fine as a half hour special. I do have a big issue. To me, Peanuts exists in a time bubble. They will always be in whatever grade they're in and they will always have the same teacher. They do not move on to another school. They never go to high school. They are frozen at a certain age. I don't like when the franchise ever suggests them growing up. They are like Peter Pan. They don't ever grow up.
