This movie was released as Snow Monster vs Ice Shark (DVD/North America)/$26.99. Ok monster movie. But not ENOUGH monsters. But we are teased at the end of more....but that still wasn't enough.

If you like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon you might like this more. It has a few fighting scenes right from that type of movie.... UNFORTUNATELY.

I did love the Snow Monster whacking one of the smaller Ice Sharks against a rock/mountain....repeatedly...lol Too much trying to put romance into a Monster movie too.

But the Snow Monster was wicked cool. Was the only cool thing in this movie. Needed MORE monster(s) less Disney type FLUFF in this movie. I got a DVD copy was $26.99. Wait till it's cheaper then buy it...lol.

Another shark movie ... in the snowy mountains? Hey they made it work! I would not miss this one.

This was obviously not a low budget film as you can tell by the quality and the thoroughness of the sets, scenery, and CGI. And someone actually spent time to make a script and scene scripting that worked real well.

The actors actually seemed to know their stuff, unlike other shark movies that seem to be more ad-lib and bikinis than actual story and acting.

All-in-all I am impressed. This team both in front off and behind the cameras made this work wonderfully. But next time, can the antagonist be a little more 'expected' than a shark swimming in snow?
