What happens when 2 friends start living apart in their own life full of struggles and hardships, with a lot of dreams and ambitions to be fulfilled. Soulmate manages to tell the story of this friendship that changes or develops the characters over the course of their lives. The beautiful chemistry of a great bond is elegantly displayed by Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Nee.

In essence, the film focuses on the story of the characters' personal journeys and transition from adolescence to adulthood. The movie captures beautiful stills of Jeju Island and the nostalgic BGM makes it more pleasant to watch.

This movies is based off a book and also there's a Chinese version (original) of this movie released on 2016. Kim Da-Mi is one of my favorite actress despite her excellent performance in every role she does. There's something about her expression that feels so real and connectes so well. The key highlights of this movie is the story and camera play, you will feel the old vibe of Jeju island.

Two best friends very opposite of their personalities becoming really close to each other and doing so the bond they form character they build and a world their create within. We never actually released how impactful someone's presence in our life.

I cried for like 2 hours after this movie and took a nap because I just didn't feel like doing anything but thinking about the film.

The acting from both Kim Da-mi (my favorite actress) and Jeon So-nee is immaculate. They carry so much emotion on their faces and convey the characters feelings perfectly.

The score is just wonderful. Every bit of music pieced throughout the movie is done so so well.

The storytelling is captivating and extremely well-paced. It builds a believable and lovely relationship between the two characters and gets you easily invested.

I've seen this film three times now and it gets better each time. The drama is believable and realistic and fits the characters experiences. You don't see movies this good that often. 10/10.
