Plot summary

Evil Nerd Menlo wants to get revenge on some surfers by selling a bad batch of soda called Buzz Cola which turns people into mutant zombies. Its up to Jocko, Chuck, Bob and their surfer buddies to save the day.

Don't think. Just drink.

Veteran movie nerd Eddie Deezen ("Grease") here has one of his lead roles, and he makes the most of it, playing a vengeance-obsessed geek turned mad scientist. His M. O. involves turning surfers (whom he hates with a passion) into mindless zombies using a particularly disgusting cola called "Buzzz".Chock full of familiar faces (with Eric Stoltz and Jeffrey Rogers of "Friday the 13th Part III" as the surfer dude heroes), the cheerfully insane & ridiculous "Surf II" is one of the less heralded 80s youth comedies. It's stupid as hell (albeit with some lines & gags that made me laugh out loud), with writer / director Randall Badat doing his best to keep it from getting boring. He does go too far with his protracted gross-out gags, but at least there are plenty of breast shots to keep some people in the audience happy.Granted, some of this writing IS pretty lame (Naming the main cop Chief Boyardie? Really?), but the cast is enthusiastic (hammy may be more accurate) and the soundtrack full of cool tunes.Even with its flaws, this movie does have the makings of what could be a cult favorite for some people. But the best joke is the official title: "Surf II: The End of the Trilogy". There never was a "Surf I" *nor* a "Surf III".Five out of 10.

Mush better than "Surf 1" --- wait a minute!

There was no "Surf 1", folks.Fun summer flick for the drunken crowd. Nerd tries to foil the shenanigans of a local jerk. Some big stars in this, believe it or not. Ruth Buzzi, Lyle Waggoner, a couple of others. Not so hot juvenile fare, but some good random bits.See Ruth do the 'jack-off' mannerism.
