From the opening credit sequence on, I was pleasantly surprised while watching The Apocalypse Box. So many low budget films have no plot, bad acting and look like the cinematographer had no idea what they were doing. I am pleased to say, Apocalypse Box had non of these issues!

Director James Eaves did a great job with a modest budget bringing this story to life. Corrinne Wicks did a phenomenal job portraying a high strung politicians wife who only wants the approval of her husband. Lead actress Lola Knight sold the premise of the film with her grounded performance.

If you are looking for a fun indie thriller that will make you jump, but still let you sleep tonight, then I suggest you give The Apocalypse Box a go.

First off it felt like the movie lasted 4 hours because you don't feel like anything is progressing, It is soon evident where it is going. So that only after a few minutes into this attempt at a movie. There's nothing left to do than to wait they all die. But if you have seen this type of film before you know that the ultimate price for using the box is the same for everyone involved : Death.

The acting is not good, amateurish is the only word i can use.

The score is one of the redeeming and rare things in the movie.

The decor is almost nonexistent. So this movie was a big let down. So save yourself first and do not watch it.
