It is fantastic to learn details about the Cavern Club beyond the Beatles. Although they do at times push the Beatles narrative often leaving most other bands to a mere mention. This documentary presents about the history of the club, it's various owners and locations. A lot of information have not seen elsewhere.The problem they have is we never really get a real feel of being in the Cavern. The club is presented as almost abstract. Inside of the club is not just pictures but narration limited almost exclusively to in front of the stage and no where else in the club.Narration is by Paul McGann and he speaks very dry. Think he needed some coffee to wake up. Hard to believe he is an actor.This was good to watch for the information. But that's all it really does is give some but not all info. It is otherwise rather boring to watch. If not a fan of the Beatles and their history, you might not get anything from watching.
