Characters are fun, friendly, and brave. This is a solid family film that helps kids to understand in simple ways that sin is a cage that leads to death, and only the King can set us free. It's deep without being preachy and has humor to lighten hard places. A good choice leading up to Easter.
This film is geared mainly toward a Christian audience or anyone who's genuinely open to learning the "why" of Jesus and the crucifixion. It looks at Jesus through the eyes of a bold lamb named Judah and his friends, Jesus' effect on those he touched, and why his death and resurrection were necessary. It tells even the hard parts of the story without being graphic.
Plot summary
Upon learning that Judah has been trapped in the clutches of the townspeople and faces the possibility of being the sacrifice at the annual Festival, the stable mates leave their cozy barn and embark on an adventure to find and free their friend.

Child-Friendly Intro to the Meaning of Jesus
Scarily Bad (Sorry Jesus)
This film gave me nightmares and I couldn't stop thinking about it afterwards for all the wrong reasons. The donkey voiced by Scott Eastwood was so full of edge that I could have cut myself on it. All of the other animals were very scary and kept making weird noises. Judah was very annoying and I didn't like his creepy human face. It made my little brother cry. Overall, I really enjoyed the film, mostly because I fear for my life that Drake will come in the night and take me out. Not disrespect to Jesus though, very appreciative of what he did for us all. This just wasn't the one chief.
Roar
2011 cartoons had it´s high like Cars 2, Tintin and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic but also many lows like The Lion of Judah. CGI animated bible barnyard about a sheep that must be saved from it´s offering that is lying forgotten and not talked about with Youtube reviewers except for Saberspark. The animation is so 2006 and forgettable pop rock songs.
