Montage

A fun watch but nothing impressive in particular. The whole thing feels like a group project in grad school where everything is followed textbook to check boxes while also adding "new unique elements" to the assignment which doesn't necessarily align with the Witcher universe. Got to watch Dolph Lundgren after a while so enjoyed that, other than that it's just a filler content you forgot you watched while waiting, expecting something bigger to come later.

Young thieves + Dolph Lundgren's drunk Witcher heist

Loved seeing Dolph Lundgren as a boozy-to-badass Witcher Brehen-perfect casting, adds old-school muscle to the young thief crew led by haunted ex-royal Mistle. The heist setup in Witcher world is breezy fun, with monster fights and banter, but the story's super familiar (every heist movie ever) and Ciri's quick Falka cameo feels like a dropped thread, leaving holes. Enjoyable 82-minute spin-off for fans, no more. 6/10-pleasant, forgettable, but Lundgren makes it worth a watch.
