The Real Bros of Simi Valley: The Movie - 8.2 - If there's ever been a movie or show that's so dumb it's hilarious, this is it. Jimmy Tatro has completely embodied his role and created the epic world of Simi Valley. This film is a great satire of reality TV and bro culture, perfectly nailing the social media culture of today. While I didn't expect a movie from the YouTube series to end up on the Roku Channel, I'm glad it did. The premise is obviously silly, and some of the humor might be stuck in 2017, but it's still a hilarious addition to the series. The whole cast remains as funny as ever, delivering perfect one-liners. The show has come a long way, and this movie is a testament to its growth. The cameos were great, and the bit with Hawk aging rapidly had me dying with laughter. Seeing Chad and JT, along with the Friday Beers squad, was fantastic. The character of Xander is hilarious, especially his bit with the truck and the high school reunion, which was laugh-out-loud funny. If there's ever a movie to turn your brain off and just laugh, this is it. These guys have deserved a movie for a long time, and this one does not disappoint. We hope for more big things from them, as this type of humor hasn't been seen since the likes of Ali G. Enjoy the flick it is a funny one. Official sundaynightstreaming rating of 8.2.

Good - but not "movie" good
Longtime fan of Jimmy Tatro & Christian Pierce and love the Real Bros of Simi Valley series - this was funny, and it was great seeing the characters again... but it felt like an extended episode of just another season of the show... in movie form instead of episodic form... and as such, it didn't really rise to the level you'd expect from a movie.
Revisiting the Hawk ages fast and Wade doesn't burn gags was great - but they leaned a bit too heavily on that.
Also, the enjoyable part about the show was the over the top exaggerated "simi bro" lingo/attitude/acting - but it seemed overplayed in the movie as compared to the series. Like it went past the point of "funny over exaggeration" where the laugh came from you going "wow, but I know people just like this" to the point where it's like a parody of an over-exaggeration that is so outlandish that it's less funny.
Not sure if that makes sense, but basically things are funnier when writers/actors aren't telegraphing "this is silly so you're supposed to laugh"... like Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in Step Brothers, hilarious... Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly in that Sherlock Holmes movie... painfully unfunny.
I hope we get another season of the show - and hopefully somebody like Netflix will pick it up. Because in bite-sized doses... this show is a 8.5-9/10 but in movie form with no breaks, after this many years of the jokes, it's a bit stale.
And for the record, Wade totally doesn't burn.
Nailed It
So funny. They all kill it in their characters. The best parody of SoCal personalities I've ever seen. Passive aggressive, trucks, tacos, business opportunities, etc...it's sick dude. I'm gonna say a bunch of characters so that this computer thing lets me go and get back to crushin silver bullets and Outback Steakhouse dawg and I don't even need it to do it lol and I'm just trying my ooooooooo best I have is to go back in my truck lol but it's just not working right for the reason so why I keep it on me I guess it's a little more of the problem but I'm gonna keep going on my car to make a lot lol but am I at 60 characters yet dawg?
