Plot summary

Black Ice-The Rhythm - The Movie

"Black Ice - The Rhythm" is a compelling and eye-opening movie produced by Gerald McBride that delves into the challenges faced by African American children in the world of hockey, a sport predominantly dominated by white athletes as they demonstrate resilience, and their love for the game. This movie hit home for my son, Jovonn Crittendon (actor), and I, as well as his friends on the hockey team.This film does an exceptional job of highlighting the systemic barriers and racism that young African American hockey players encounter. Through poignant interviews, real-life footage, and personal stories, McBride illustrates the emotional and physical toll these children endure while pursuing their passion in an often unwelcoming environment. Must Go See!
