Painfully dull

I watch Lifetime movies more than I'd like to admit. They are what they are but one thing they usually aren't is dull. "The Stepdaughter 2" looks like a Lifetime movie but the production are not up to regular Lifetime standards. I looked the movie up and it turns out it's not a Lifetime but a Tubi Original. That explains everything.

Narration

What's up with the narration oh my God it's driving me crazy why do we have to be told everything that's going to happen it's going to happen driving me nuts "Matt walked into the room so what". Could have done without the narration I was wondering if you could turn it off somehow. More like a made for TV movie it was okay.
