Plot summary

A Decent Watch

I was extremely impressed by Zhao Liying's acting. Her performance was raw and emotionally charged. She had great chemistry with her co-star, and her subtle body language really added depth to the character. As well as, Xin Zhilei. Their body language and movement aligned with the characters.My tears kept filling when I saw two sisters hugging.This film sparks deep contemplation and discussion. It engages with complex ideas and themes. The whole storyline is simple and flat, but each scene is visually stunning. I like these long takes, but each scene lacks some timely and logical connection between them.I like this kind of art film even though it makes me depressed. But if you are looking for something entertaining, this film may not be suitable for you.

It was ok

Qiao Yan and her sister are not defined by a generalized group of characteristics. They both display prominent aspects of their personalities, whether they are considered positive strengths or negative weaknesses. Even though Qiao Yan is in the glamorous entertainment industry, she is constantly weighed down by fear and pressure. Her sister, who is pregnant faces a lot of difficulties in life, but she has a strong desire to survive. They try to survive in a difficult living environment and they try to break free from the chains of fate.Liying and Zhilei's acting are amazing. The story is a little dry, but it's okay to watch.
