Delightful, hilarious, mindless fun.

I really liked this movie. It's not gonna win any Oscars, but it was a fun ride! I laughed and smiled the whole time. Sometimes you just need a little ridiculous, over-the-top fun. ? It's campy in the best way. And the eye candy doesn't disappoint either. Watch, let go of the problems of the world for a minute, and enjoy.

Hilarious

This movie is so cheesy that it's brilliant - very enjoyable!Mocks everything about shows like the Bachelor and stereotypes everything.Nothing like some green screen Paris and a hunky main man with painted on abs.Easy watch that I enjoyed but would not say that it's a great piece of cinema. My favourite part is the outtakes at the end.

Predictably Perfect: When Rom-Com Formula Actually Works

I am not a RomCom fan, nor a regular on the reality TV circuit - BUT this movie - I liked more than I thought I would!Despite being utterly predictable from frame one, The Wrong Paris succeeds where countless Netflix rom-coms fail: it commits fully to its ridiculous premise and executes with genuine heart.Miranda Cosgrove sheds her Nickelodeon image convincingly, delivering both comedic beats and romantic vulnerability with surprising maturity. Her chemistry with Pierson Fode's charming cowboy bachelor feels authentic rather than manufactured.Yes, every plot twist telegraphs itself miles ahead. Yes, the fish-out-of-water setup hits every expected note. But director Janeen Damian understands that rom-com success isn't about surprising audiences... it's about making the inevitable journey feel worthwhile. The reality TV satire adds clever meta-commentary without becoming too cynical, while the Texas setting provides gorgeous backdrops that make you forget this was actually filmed in Canada. ;) The supporting cast creates believable dating show chaos, and Nicole Henrich's script finds fresh angles within familiar territory. At 7.5/10, this isn't groundbreaking cinema, but it's exactly what comfort-food romance should be: warm, funny, and surprisingly satisfying. Sometimes predictable done well beats unpredictable done poorly.Top Tip: Pierson Fode is a star in the making - the only time I thought this before was Gilbert Grape, which gave us two superstars!
