Plot summary

A Decent Thriller With a Good Twist

I came across There's a New Killer in Town while browsing Lifetime thrillers, and it turned out better than I expected. The story moves at a steady pace and has a few tense moments that keep you interested. It's not overly complicated, which works in its favor ..you don't have to think too hard to follow what's going on.The performances are pretty good for a TV movie. The lead actress does a solid job carrying the story, and the supporting cast is decent. I liked the small town setting and the eerie vibe it created throughout. There's a twist near the end that I didn't see coming, which added to the fun.Of course, it has the usual Lifetime feel a bit predictable in some spots, and some of the dialogue is a little cheesy. But overall, if you enjoy light thrillers with a bit of mystery and drama, this one is worth a watch.
