But it is clear to most people that Bono used that as a political platform to harang people with a message that is at best progressive and at worst virtue signalling. I do not understand how some famous people think that they have any understanding of the complexities of human life as if they are something special. I found Bono's social justice campaigns to be a total bore that showed his shallowness and superficiality and a waste of his immense talent - he should have listened to Mick Jagger etc. And just stayed out of it. Or better still make massive anonymous donations to those doing the work and encourage others to do so too.
