I watched this movie in 2023. In the past 25 years there were dozens of movies with the same theme. An ever sacrificing, big hearted, protective patriarchal brother who dictates term to his ever obedient shingdi brothers. Another feature is anybody and everybody around this family is indebted to the them directly or indirectly and willing to go to any length to help them. Last but not the least the ever presence of two rival factions having an age old grudge brewing, plotting and engaging in constant fights. This repetitive plot in this day and age seems boring. In all this Shobana, a talented actress was wasted in this blink and you'll miss role. Don't go by the hype and rush to watch this movie.
