Awful, jarringly incoherent, unwatchable self-aggrandizement.This movie demonstrates no understanding of the historical context of rap / hip hop in Vancouver; does not introduce any of the characters who are veterans of that scene; and does nothing but attempt to foist its five principles and promote their careers as emerging (but still unheard of) rap artists.I will attempt no judgment of their particular talent but this movie is not about VanCity's rap scene: it's about these five performers. And yet, insofar as their climb to stardom, it is completely unrevealing and uninsightful. It just blasts the viewer with a cacophony of sound and imagery that has practically no narrative or storyline.I should receive an Order of Canada for sitting all the way through this. This is tripe.
