Plot summary

Kulinda, a noble of Kuntala, discovers an abandoned boy in the jungle and names him Chandrahasa for his radiant smile. Raised with love, Chandrahasa grows into a virtuous young man, unaware of the powerful enemies plotting against him. But his unwavering faith shields him from harm. Each failed attempt only brings downfall to his enemies, turning foes into allies. Chandrahasa emerges as a symbol of divine grace, protected by the gods.

A movie to forget

The art of Yakshagana is a combination of dance and act. Whereas the movie "Veera Chandrahaasa" released in the name of yakshagana-movie, does not contain the dance except 2 cases. Hence this movie can not be considered as yakshagana category.Shivarajkumar's character is forcefully added to the script which is not at all required.Without a reason the movie drags towards part 2 which is again not required at all. The story could have been completed within single part itself.The movie also teases Brahmin community for being foodie, as if the other community people do not eat food at all. The brahmin community became the easy target in this movie, since this community does not harm anybody.

Amazing movie, screenplay, music and the Art form itself Yakshagana.

What a movie and what an effort put by the Team. It's a honest effort put by Ravi Basrur to the Art of Yakshagana and to show it's Art form to the rest of the world who knows nothing about it. This attempt will benifit our next generations, inspiring them to learn and know this Art.Storyline and screenplay is amazing, each fame looks great on the big screen. I request everyone please vist the theaters to view this movie and support and promote this movie. This will mean a lot to the Art of Yakshagana and the all the Artist of Yakshagana.The music is an absolute treat to the ears. And the Bhagavatike of Ragavendra Janasali is outstanding and due the best Audio quality everything sounds Amazing.
