Plot summary

Vic dreams of going to sea as a member of the crew captained by Halvar, his father, who unfortunately thinks that the child is too weak to embark with him and his brave warriors in search of dangerous adventures; but fate will offer Vic the opportunity to prove to Halvar that he is a true Viking.

It's a shame that these legendary Nordic themes don't enchant me as much as I would like...

A French-Belgian-German computer-animated adventure film based on the Swedish book series "Vicke Viking" by Runer Jonsson, and serves as a continuation of the animated series "Vic the Viking". A colorful, fun animation, with charismatic characters, especially the protagonist, a fragile, delicate and very intelligent boy, it's a shame that these legendary Nordic themes don't enchant me as much as I would like...Vic is a young Viking like no other: not very strong, but very intelligent. When his father, Halvar, the village chief, steals from his sworn enemy a magic sword that turns everything into gold, the lure of the gain wreaks havoc among the Vikings.

For the Under 6 Crowd.

Low grade Adventure for the small set.

Lite violence and nobody gets hurt bad.

Weak plot with a lot of running around to no real end in mind. Animation is average for a TV film. At least there are no annoying song during the film.

Vic is the small weak son of the leader of Viking bad of misfits. His father has no faith in so small a boy and always thinks he has the correct answer to any problem and that is to not think and attack.

Bad things happen and nobody knows what to do, but little Vic. Who rubs both sides of his nose and then under it, thinks for a moment, Snaps his fingers and in a shower of stars has the answer to any problem.
