Hauntingly Beautiful

The main theme line is not new but the way the story is told engages and entices.An important element in the movie is the wind phone which is an unconnected phone located at Otsuchi, Japan. It lets you hold one way conversations with deceased loved ones.Carlo is a master in controlled and minimalist acting.Barbie is a revelation.The movie is told in a quiet and gentle manner.The scenery of Japan evokes a sad but beautiful feel that contributes to the atmosphere. The drama is low key but the character development is very satisfying. As well, the plot and the story was well delivered. Hoping to see more of this kind of beautiful movies from its Director. Very beautiful movie indeed. It touches your soul.The cinematography will make you want to visit Japan.Overall, the movie evokes a gentle reminder that love lives ever after.
