Plot summary

Xiaobai finally found Xu Xian, the reincarnation of Axuan, after 500 years, the two met on the Broken Bridge. Xiaobai and sister hid in the streets and alleys, started a lively life in human world with him and his brother-in-law Li Gongfu.

"A lingering dream, a faraway love"

Set during the golden age during the Tang Dynasty, 500 years after the first movie.. the two immortal-snake- demon sisters are back to repay a kindness to the reincarnation of a man through a human-lifetime of love.This is the actual sequel (in chronological order) to Lightchaser's White Snake trilogy.. after they released them out of order, for some reason. And while the movie is a beautiful spectacle, the script leaves a lot to be desired (as is often the case with this animation studio).At least the weird storytelling keeps it fresh, albeit nonsensical in parts. Sadly, the emotional sections feel weightless and there's little to enjoy aside from the action and wonderful visuals. At least the story makes sense this time around.

Needs English Translation

I loved White Snake and Green Snake. This one was fun too but harder to enjoy since it was so hard to find and there was no official English translation. I would love to see it on Netflix or another streaming service and properly translated. I really like how Blanca continued to love her guy even in another reincarnation, and it was amazing to see how he became a doctor just like he was saying he wanted to do in the first movie. I think the love story was very well executed, Verta also a great sister, like always. I was happy to see both girls enjoy a peaceful life amongst the humans for a change, even though the monk wouldn't let that last. Anyway, 10/10, I hope for more.
