Plot summary

Morgan and Jean work well together as true crime podcasters because they didn’t work well, at all, as a couple. However, when Morgan strikes up a new relationship with the mysterious Simone, their shared interest turns into suspicion, paranoia, and fear.

one too many hats

In New York City, Morgan (Ingrid Jungermann) and her ex Jean (Ann Carr) are partners in podcasting. Their subject matter is women who kill. At the farm co-op, Morgan falls for newcomer Simone (Sheila Vand). Simone may not be who she claims to be.This indie has a fun premise. Others do work in the same territory. Annette O'Toole has a supporting role. This has some interesting fun moments. It could go harder on the comedy, but that would require comedic skills at the top of the cast list. As the director and the writer, Ingrid is also wearing the additional acting hat. It is one too many hats.

Don't know where the comedy is

Don't know where the comedy element of this film is ? was a complete waste of time, waiting for it to get funny, it didn't, waiting for it to get interesting, it didn't. Guess we deserved a medal for watching it all right to the end. Really a waste of time, and pretty disappointed.
