Good acting, flawed script
Very confusing
I spent the first half of this movie wondering what on earth was going on. When it finally dawned on me that this was some kind of service that enabled the dead to live their ideal lives and still be able to to communicate with the living via AI I was even more confused.
It deals with a dead woman trying to stay in the life of her daughter and her mother.
A young woman whose boyfriend is in a coma
A man who would like to watch his own funeral.
A doting grandmother whose grandson is taking advantage of her.
Complications occur when the boyfriend wakes up with a changed personality and the daughter of the dead woman runs away.
Scientific movies have to have some grounds of believability and this had none.
I watched it purely for Park Bo-Gum - who proved he can act in dramas as well as comedies. The stars are all for him.
I know AI is gaining ever more ground currently - and it may be too late when people realise just how dangerous it could be.
This movie tries to sell it as a positive. It is not. Even if it were possible all it does is delay the process of accepting death and moving on from it.
I don't recommend it.
