Plot summary

Humans who can shapeshift into animals struggle to integrate with others without giving away their special abilities. As a group, they strive to inform and institute change in the world perspective of deforestation and the importance of natural habitats. However, when that can’t happen, they are forced to take matters into their own hands.

It is completely okay

I haven't read the books myself, or not the entire thing, but I know that they are (as usual) better than the film adaptation.Which, honestly, doesn't matter here.It's a children's film with mostly child actors, so what do you expect?Of course, the acting talent could be improved, but it's not bad.If you see the film through children's eyes-which is the intention here-then it doesn't matter at all.The animation is perfectly acceptable and sufficient for children, far better than many others.You shouldn't go into this expecting it to be a blockbuster, as it's simply a typical children's/youth film aimed at younger audiences.If you're a big fan of the books, you might be disappointed by the animation, etc.All in all, a good children's/youth film, with a good message (you just have to think about what they want to tell us), better than other films today. Sweet for children - less so for book fans.
