Plot summary

Confused

While the movie was enjoyable and Lulu Wilson played a powerful and beautiful role, Wrenn Schmidt also played well. The rest seemed mediocre. The boy friend was not impressive at all. The Xeno character is well designed and fit into the movie well. The ending could really have been written better. The movie end was rushed and the ending made no sense. It ended abruptly.

ugly ET

Renee (Lulu Wilson) is a smart 15 year old. At school, she's an outcast. At home, she hates her mother's drunken loser boyfriend. She finds a strange creature stuck in a leg trap. She frees it and it becomes her most loyal killing machine.This is ET except ugly. They could have made this more brutal and bloody. I almost want them to try for something darker and more horrifying. I want her to be a budding serial killer and it be her instrument of death. Lulu Wilson is interesting although she's getting a little old to play young teens.

Renee (Lulu Wilson) is sullen teenage girl. Her father died in an accident.Her mother could not get over it. Instead of getting help she moved towns and got herself a drunken new boyfriend.Renee hates him and the feeling us mutual.There is hope in the shape of an alien that crashed into the desert.Somehow there is a bond between Renee and the alien and it becomes her protector especially when the mother's boyfriend becomes abusive.However government agents are not far behind.Over forty years later, ET is still spawning imitators. This is updated but still derivatives. The alien though is more inspired by the xenomorph from Alien.
