Plot summary

Take a plunge into the morbid world of Z and M's Pawn. This movie is based loosely off of the characters of "Zed" and " Maynard" in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. See what happens to "Z" (Jason Henne) and "M"( Patrick Duncan Weston) before, after and during the events that happened in Pulp Fiction. Z and M are on a road to success running their Pawn shop when an investigating officer of the law becomes suspicious of felonious activity happening in and around Z and M's Pawn. Detective Pine (Joe Makowski), is rundown and burnt out, however it doesn't stop his forceful nature to stop these criminals dead in their tracks. Enjoy a fun, gory and exploitative movie about an unlikely partnership that leads to murder, lust and betrayal. Don't Believe ANY of the positive reviews!

Because much like many of these terrible projects, they were written by people that were in the movie. I feel sorry for the actors and crew people in this garbage. Sadly, this is supposed to be spun off of a Tarantino classic, but he would hate this and I'm sure everyone knows it. Nobody involved in this is a trained professional actor. The writing is embarrassing. The direction is just as awful. Why bother? Sean Donahue should be sued for this, it's clearly ripping off Tarantino characters. Avoid this trash, it's seriously not even worth checking out. Do yourself a favor and seek out Pulp Fiction and don't give BS wannabe "filmmakers" like this the time and views.

Zed's Dead

I understand that "Z", "M,", and the gimp were characters from Pulp Fiction. It's been years since I've seen Pulp Fiction so I don't remember much of it.

Any "M" runs a pawn shop. He mostly kills his customers. "Z" is partner. "Z" is a security guard. Then there's the gimp, who is their servant. He cooks for them and helps them clean up their messes.

Z and M kill just about everyone who comes into the pawn shop. A private detective comes around asking questions about a local waitress who has disappeared. "M" lures the detective back to the pawn shop so that he can dispose of him.

I haven't seen Pulp Fiction for years, so there's probably a lot that went over my head. I came to Zed's Dead as a fan of Sean Donohue. So far, I've enjoyed the films of his that I have seen.
