I really don't understand when a movie is released without subtitles/closed captioning for those who normally have difficulty hearing.
Then, releasing a movie that has a bad soundtrack (where the sound goes from loud to very low) instead of evening it out, is just unwatchable.
I really don't know much about what was going on, so I could only give it 2 stars.
It looked like it COULD be interesting, but just can't hear it.

DVD sound is terrible and no subtitles!!
Fairly horrendous
The thing about William Baldwin is that just his presence and hi smirk is somewhat entertaining to watch. The problem with Michael Madsen is that he brings a smugness to every role that got tired 20 years ago. And it has become very, very difficult to watch him for the past two decades. There's really not much to this film. Not much of a story, incredibly claustrophobic, and there's really just not much there. I would say it's a Hollywood version of an empty suit. Please spend your time seeking entertainment elsewhere. Do yourself a favor.
Two people trapped together in a trunk
Eric (a solid and likeable performance by Ivan Gonzalez) and Blake (a pleasingly feisty portrayal by Cassie Howarth) find themselves bound and gagged together in the trunk of a pick-up. It turns out the pair's abductors have very unpleasant plans in store for them.
Director Benjamin Goalabre relates the gripping story at a constant pace, generates a good deal of claustrophobic tension, takes time to develop the two main characters, and makes nice use of the dry and desolate Nevada desert landscape. Moreover, Michael Madsen and William Baldwin play their colorfully slimy bad guy roles with delicious lip-smacking wicked relish. A nifty little flick.
