Seems the few people who have reviewed this film didn't understand what they were watching and instead anticipated an actor adventure film.

If you are interested in the history of Western civilization, then you will probably really like this documentary. It's full of interesting new information, particularly about the "Sea People" who have been blamed for an incredibly widespread civilization collapse toward the end of the bronze age in 1200 BC.

This extremely well-made documentary includes a very different interpretation of the events around the year 1200 BC and takes you from Egypt to Crete Anatolia and Keenan to give us a new eye and a new interpretation on this catastrophic ending of the civilization primarily but many other civilizations as well

I loved it.

The title had me thinking it would be more sensationalized sound effects and such. Ended up being a lot more geology and cited ancient texts.

Highly plausible a long draught caused unrest in the region, especially with the despotism of the time. Then a nasty earthquake sparks waves of refugees and invaders.

Which of course destroys waterways and sewage in an already malnourished population. Inevitably leading to outbreaks of numerous diseases, even the royal families dying of small pox and the like.

Not too different from the current situation in several countries today. Just shake the jar a little and you too can be a forgotten civilization!

I was surprised it came out in 2023. I felt I was watching a 10-15 years old documentary. The computer graphics were really bad.

But the biggest problem was that since they haven't found any new evidence lately they can't say anything new.

Just theories and theories and theories.

They have no clue who were the sea people, have no clue why those empires collapsed, they have no clue of anything!!

Could've been this. Or could've been that. Oooor could've been the two together.

Just the usual "documentary" which doesn't answer any questions!!

WHY?! What's the reason to produce these kind of empty contents?!
