This isn't a parallel universe movie on a scientist finding a portal but more about life/death. This puts a new twist on if a persons timeline ends by things other than natural death by old age. The theory is you shift to another parallel universe and even possibly the "you" at a different age.

Would you do what the main guy does to search for the ideal universe. It would be a risk. Would you try to change another world for what you had in the past life. The choices you make, how each reality is connected. Not identical. Just similiar and in a different way.

Look, I really try to give films a chance. Everything from fan films to cerebral art films, bring 'em on. But there are some films (like this one) that a person can tell within the first ten minutes is just not worth spending precious moments from one's limited lifespan.

Poor lighting, poor filming, amateur acting. Without researching, I'd guess this is a college film project, most likely by 1st-year students... or a family film production, as some of the cast members appear to be related.

No offense to anyone, but even fan films need to live up to a certain level of quality. Or not. There's no rules for fan films except to find a chunk of the audience that appreciates what's been done. At this time there are 53 ratings, with an average rating of 3.3 (out of 10) and 77% of the audience giving it 3 stars or less (43% giving it 1 star). I have a feeling this film is going to have a very difficult time finding that chunk.

Rule of film-making: First 15 minutes... capture audience attention or nosedive. This one is nose diving. I'd wager few are going to hang around to "see if it gets any better".
