I liked Batman: Bad Blood, but it could have been tighter in the writing.
The many subplots dragged the potentially strong story down, because the summary of the movie sounded hell of a lot interesting. Instead we get a rather unfocused juggling of way too many characters in a way too short movie.
But I will say that I enjoyed a lot of what was presented in here, but after thinking about it one more time after finishing the movie it just felt like it lacked something.
Not a bad movie, but far from the best executed Batman movie I've seen.

There was a lot going on in this movie.
Good, if unexceptional
After Batman goes missing, the Bat-family has to pull together to a) solve the mystery of his disappearance and b) prevent Gotham from going to the dogs. This puts a burden on Dick (Nightwing) Grayson who has to don the Bat-mantle, tests Damien Wayne's loyalties, and does newcomer Batwoman really merit a place in the Bat-family?
JM de Matteis scripts a Batman story which hardly features the titular character (not the first time this has happened). It's quite a good story and neatly balances plot, mystery, character and action. The characters are all well-voiced and realised, and this is not as violent as some of the DC animated features.
Overall, this rates a decent above average.
Nuns with M60's and Katana's? - Nunjas!...
I am not much of a Batman fan, nor a fan of superheroes in general, but still I sat down to watch "Batman: Bad Blood" when I had the chance. And I did so with my son, as he enjoys superheroes in all shapes and sizes.
However, it turned out that my son's interest in "Batman: Bad Blood" dwindled quite fast. And to be honest, then I found the storyline in this 2016 animated movie to be mediocre, and not really offering much of anything to spike my interest. But I persisted and stuck with it to the very end.
I didn't really know many of the characters in this animated movie, so I have no clue of how true they were to their comic book origins. And while we are on the character gallery here, then I found the characters to be quite generic and essentially didn't have much of variations in personalities and characteristics. Nightwing was essentially just a Batman clone, and that was further cemented when he donned the mantle of the bat and pretended to be Batman. And Batwing, seriously? Batwing? Was the creativity well really so dry that this is what they could come up with? A tech-enhanced version of Batman. And suddenly Robin is a child and the son of Batman? What kind of twisted idea was that? Granted, I have no idea about the storyline of the comic books or other animated movies, so I don't know what warrants this drastic change of character and concept of Robin.
Now, as for the animation style and art, then it was rather reminiscent of old school "G.I. Joe". And that worked quite well in favor of the animated movie, I think.
The dialogue in "Batman: Bad Blood" was as to be expected and cheesy as superhero movie dialogue go. So you know what you are getting here.
The voice acting in this animated movie was adequate, although I didn't recognize a single voice in here. I later saw that Morena Baccarin, John DiMaggio and Ernie Hudson were voicing characters, but I can't claim to have realized that while watching "Batman: Bad Blood".
"Batman: Bad Blood" was mediocre entertainment, and as such my rating lands on a 5 out of 10 stars.
