As someone who has depression, I think this movie portrays well what it means to go through the ups and downs of life with this illness. But, factors such as the relationship of the main actress with the hospital psychiatrists seemed very unrealistic to me.
In most cases, you don't stay in contact with the specialists outside the hospital, much less forming a kind of "friendship" (like what happens with Tori Hausermann).
The thing about Robert Perkins' death seemed very forced for the film, although if it is based on real events I can understand why they added it. I wouldn't watch it again, but I liked it.
Plot summary
Based on true events- A young woman struggles to piece her world together after a botched suicide attempt.

Good movie
A feel good movie for those who already feel good.
Felt like a Lifetime movie. Fake. The main character must be manic/depressant to turn on an emotional dime the way she did. I do not believe that true healing occurred. It did nothing for me watching from a depressed state except make me faceplam at it.
