At its best, at its rawest and a mindbending and gutwrenching socialrealismic take on a young boys takes coming of age, wanting to be on stage...
its a film about a lost childhood,a film about a broken corefamily without the good old safetynet called the greater family where grannies and other weird auntspinsters may take care when health issues invalides the main caretaker.a take on the new era of family structures...
also a weird look at a young and adult realationship, where you are left in fear that this will go wrong, ill say no more. The acting by the ''jonge''is just prizeworthy considering age and complexity of the acts, also acclaim for good direction of the whole cast that delivers in the most peculiar way...
but its not a film for everyone, there are loads of sideshow arts in the plotted story, just try to walk the straight line and you will be surprised how easy it is, even without the balancebeam. A recommend from the grumpy old man.

Impressive!
Impressive directional debut from Perceval. Ben Segers acting is solid and he shows he can do a lot more then playing a comedian. I can not wait for the next movie of Perceval.
Mediocre and meaningless
Obnoxious characters in a meaningless movie that's about nothing and goes nowhere. Should have known it when the VTM logo appeared, this is a "raw drug movie" for people that have never seen a raw drug movie.
