Pretty good flick, acting good, scenario plausible, especially as the general idea to go anywhere at any time and use mind altering substances has become so prevalent. Wish our government would hurry up and decriminalize or legalize all this stuff. Clear out the stupid and stop them from breeding. LMAO

Plot summary
When twenty-four-year-old Jae is released from prison for killing her mother, she returns to her childhood home in small-town Ridgecrest. The desire to go anywhere but there prompts her to agree to join her brother on a road trip out to Death Valley - which results in getting them hopelessly lost in the most stunning, but unforgiving topographical terrain on the planet.

Incredibly good movie. Not boring at all
I expected this to be bad but it was actually one of the best survival movies I have seen. This reminded me of The Canyon which is also really good.
The writing and pacing are excellent. The acting is very good. Nothing in the movie is predictable.

Very decent watch
This is a drama, not a thriller. It's a very decent watch. Only nitpicky item: Mischa Barton apparently had a hairdresser and colorist when she was in prison.
